The Saga~how I arrived to this...
Here is how I arrived to this idea:
First...WAY back on May 13th 2006 a video was posted on youtube.com. It is called "Hanso Industries". It was uploaded from a user by the name HoffittFilms.

Since that time I have been subscriber to that user and had never seen them log on to youtube.com till a couple of days ago (June 28th I believe). On that day the profile said that user had been on within the week. Now I had been keeping my eyes peeled for this user to log on to youtube.com because I found that video simply amazing! On June 29th that same user was logged in ALL DAY.
On June 21st I became friends with mandrakewig on myspace mandrakewig myspace click here Found him by communication from several fellow LOSTIES who said that he was in-game and that he was refered by a ROT charactor on AIM named DSLerator. I HAD to see this for myself LOL!!
Mandrakewig and I chatted A BUNCH for the next several days and for long story short...he put out blog on June 29th click here to view
Now I was already a flickr user so I went and became contact/friend with mandrake on flickr right after the blog was published.
I get invite to be contact/friend with JWH1972 within 25 minutes of becoming contact/friend with mandrake. Turns out JWH1972 was already a contact with mandrake. THE ONLY contact with mandrake besides me. We three (me, mandrake, and JWH1972) were a threesome for most of that day. Mandrake and JWH1972 both only had me as a contact/friend.
NOW...the weird part for me was a couple of things. First, this JWH1972 had a bunch of familiar photos. Further inspection let me to realize that some were from the orientation_testing_issue_1980 that was discovered on thehansofoundation.org June 19th. Thanks to 007surge, there is now a youtube video to see as hanso site is down.
Further investigation led me to realize that the OTHER photos on JWH1972 were from the Hoffitt video "Hanso Industries".
Looking at the name of the user...I became VERY suspecious of this user.
Me and hubby TEAM LENA aka me and rxhector inlisted settern to aid us as we are NOT video/image gurus. So, she has graced us with her skill and we think we have a case to IF ANYTHING prove that the Hanso Industries video is IN GAME and that we need to keep a WATCHFULL eye on both JWH1972 on flickr and HoffittFilms on youtube.com.

Good work on the video find.
Let me play devil's advocate.
Lost is a hit show. A budding film maker falls in love with the orientation film and decides to take it a step further. He/she makes their own video with even more back story and post it to youtube and ifilm.
The Lost producers see it, love it, and contact 'hoffitt' to praise him, or vice-versa he actually sends them his 'application for employment' with contact info.
It's so damn good, they hire him to join the production team.
Once joining, he brings all his images, style etc. and the ARG guys use those in the game.
And so, in essense, while all the images he brings to the table are used, the actual HANSO INDUSTRIES video is still out of game.
Again, just being devil's advocate.
I think you're right, but with some reservations.

proarchy, when I had a quick look at the symbol on the lab coats I thought it was the omega symbol, looking back again it doesn't look quite as rounded as omega should, but yeah... it's odd
